Revy Riders Dirt bike Club
Revelstoke, BC
Revelstoke, BC
Our trails are open.
Our season of heavy snowfall and monsoon June has been hard on the trails.
We will have crews working on trails throughout the next week so please ride with caution. If possible bring a small saw in case of fallen trees, also please try to avoid ruts and spinning out in them; as well as large puddles. Avoid barriers that have been put in place to protect the trails from further damage.
We have had many fallen trees so again please ride with caution.
The track is also open.
Currently on the Overdrive, (the trail headed from the parking lot to the trails) we are having drainage issues in one sections. Please be aware and either use caution or take a different route to trails.
We would like to give an update with regards to the Revy Riders trail system, club events, and maintenance. Revy Riders trails will be open for the 2020 season with our trail pass and season pass pricing remaining the same as last year.
We have decided to cancel our current spring fundraiser and season kick-off as well as postponed the Triple B Ladies Rally until this fall (date TBD). Our biggest focus right now is to keep our community and everyone who rides safe until this situation has passed.
If you are going out riding we suggest you follow BCORMA’s recommendations, and respect social distancing. We encourage you to be respectful to the trails no matter where you are riding right now. Please take into account many clubs have limited resources and funds right now to maintain and build trails, so ride respectfully and try to stay off trails that have water-pooling or erosion.
Lastly we would like to remind to stay safe, healthy and sane during this time. We care for everyone of our club members and our community, without you we could not exist. We encourage you to respect social distancing and understand the risk that some riding can impose at this time, with very limited Search and Rescue volunteer resources and strict protocol.
Braapy Trails
Sincerely,
The Revy Riders Dirtbike C
The track is located 10 minutes from downtown Revelstoke on Westside Road.
Turn North at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 23 South. Follow the Revy Riders MotoTrails & Track signage on Westside Road 10 kms. Past the City Garbage dump and Glacier House Resort you will see the motocross track from the road on your left and a large carpark.
The Revy Riders Dirtbike Club was officially formed in November of 2008 in an attempt to keep our original Motocross track from being decommissioned.
In the late 70’s, a group of local businessmen, mainly “Papa” John Archer and Terry Fleming, used some land that was leased to the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club located in the Industrial Park, to build the legendary track. The track existed for 27 years and provided a lifetime of great memories, good times, and lots of broken bones!!
The Revy Riders Dirtbike Club strongly depends on membership fees to maintain and build our trails and tracks. All money collected goes directly towards maintenance and further development. To ride our Tracks, you MUST be a member, OR have filled out and signed our waiver and paid a $10 fee. Please deposit into the lockbox provided at the kiosk.
Before you purchase your trail pass or membership you must fill out our waiver.
